Affirmations for Success
If you want to achieve a successful mindset, you need to tell yourself successful things. All the time.
The most powerful way to accelerate your journey towards success is to use affirmations. Tell yourself that you are who you want to be, and you will easily and magically become that person.
Try reading this list of affirmations out loud, right now:
- Success comes to me easily.
- All obstacles to my success are dissolving with total grace.
- I deserve to be the person I want to be.
- My ideas come to fruition.
- I make enough money to do anything I want.
- People respect me and admire me.
- I serve as an example for others to follow.
- I have all the talent, intelligence, and money I need right now to complete my journey to success.
- I am continually improving at my work.
- I visualize my future clearly.
- I love to achieve.
- When I set goals for myself, they happen, naturally.
- Mighty forces are supporting me in my success.
Add to this list with some of your own affirmations. Read some new affirmations, out loud, every day!
Smoke Breaks
Smokers have an unfair advantage with visualization: they have a built-in break system.
If they do not pass their smoke break in idle chat with other smokers, they find themselves outside, alone, with only their thoughts for company–while they find fulfillment and relaxation for a few minutes. A smoker ends a smoke break feeling refreshed, because their addiction has been sated, and because they have taken some deep breaths and done some thinking.
This break time, where the rest of the world is put on hold, is one of the most difficult things to lose when people quit smoking. By replacing the smoke break with a visualization break, you can quit smoking and still keep this great advantage that smokers get for manifestation.
If you have been a smoker, you know what I am talking about: five minutes alone with your thoughts can be spent brooding about what has gone wrong, or rejoicing about what has gone right. There is nothing quite so satisfying as a victory cigarette, nor is there anything quite so depressing as a cigarette smoked in frustration. This is because the structure of the smoke break is now separate from daily tasks; you cannot smoke while shopping for groceries, or working at your job (in most cases), or eating a meal in a restaurant. Smoking removes you from the daily pace of life, and gives you the very outside perspective that is necessary during visualization.
Non-smokers have seen this if they have ever seen anyone smoking outside. They stand idly, with no company but their own thoughts.
Put the idea of the smoke break to work for you!
Use it as time to visualize and manifest. Spend the length of one cigarette (about 5 minutes) embodying your dream, and see yourself as successfully attaining your goals while you are in that break from the real world. When you step back into it, you will be urged in the direction to your goal by the power of your own mind.

Recently, she gave a guest post on another favorite blog of mine, IttyBiz. I love reading guest posts, because this is when a blogger really takes the time to shine, breaks out all their really good ideas, and makes sure that the content is top-notch. Whenever I see one of my favorite writers has a guest post on someone else’s blog, I make sure to read it, because I know it will be the distilled essence of why I like this writer.

Affirmation: I Believe Something Wonderful Will Happen To Me Today!
This is a powerful thought to start your day with. It is, literally, a gratitude accelerator.
“I believe something wonderful will happen to me today!”
I picked this up while listening to Brian Tracy, who, in turn picked it up from one of his students. After using it for a few days, I had some unexpected manifestations that were just awesome. But then, I noticed something peculiar:
“Wonderful things happen every day”
Sometimes they are unexpected, and sometimes they are wholly expectable. Without this affirmation, though, I would not have taken such high notice of the expectable wonderful occurrences; my kids running to greet me when I come home, checking my voice mail to find three referrals waiting for me, cashing a big bonus check. These are not out of the ordinary occurrences, manifested solely because of the manifestation work I am doing; but they are wonderful.
As I repeat the affirmation at the end of the day, I look back on whatever could have been wonderful for me today. I look back with gratitude. And gratitude, as we all know, is one of the most powerful emotions you can use in manifestation.
By the Law of Attraction, what you feel strongly for will multiply. I use this affirmation to feel grateful for the wonderful things in my life I already have, and lo, I manifest even more to be grateful for!
