Dreaming is not manifesting. Desiring something is not enough to bring it about. Why?

When you wish for something in the future your wish keeps it in the future–out of the NOW.

If you are going to manifest your dreams, and make them become reality, then you must BECOME your dreams. Now. Today. This moment. For eternity exists only within the present moment, and if you do not anchor your desires in eternity, in this present moment, then when will they ever come about?

“Someday” is often a codeword for “never.”

Oftentimes, by wanting something, we focus only on the absence of it. It is not enough to recognize a lack in yourself, and wish for it to be fulfilled. By the Law of Attraction, you will be manifesting more lack.

If you want to manifest your desire, you must do more than wish for it. You must BECOME it.

Snooze Alarm Meditation

When you are between waking and sleep, your mind is optimally primed for taking in suggestion.  Plant some good seeds in your mental garden during your snooze time.

My alarm is on my cell phone, which is a smartphone.  It also has my music program on it.  When I hit snooze, I open up my music program, and hit ‘play.’

My favorite snooze meditation is Louise Hay’s 101 Power Thoughts for Life. You can also use one of your own affirmations, recorded on your phone or on a CD.  (This is one of the BEST ways to get your affirmations in your brain – YOU should be the one reading them.)

The human mind, like the field, doesn’t care what you plant.  It will return what you plant, without fail.

Attitude of Gratitude

We become what we continually think about.

Focus on what you are grateful for, and why you are grateful for it, and you will manifest more things to be grateful about.

It’s time to practice.  This exercise can be done in any public place, and the more frequently you do it, the more you will master manifestation.  Like any muscle, our emotions become more proficient with use.  This exercise strengthens your capacity for joy.

Go people watch somewhere. Fill yourself with joy. Imagine yourself the happiest you have ever been. As someone passes you, no matter their demeanor or their facial expression, imagine them in joy. The happiest they have ever been. Bless them with this joy.

Focal Point

Dion Fortune said, “Symbols are to the mind what tools are to the hand–an extended application of its powers.”

So let’s apply.

What is the best symbol to represent your intention? If your intention is financial, it could be a piece of currency. It could be a check made out to yourself in the amount of one million dollars. It could be a check register with all of the visualized checks entered, and the account balanced with painstaking accuracy.

The entire reason that this works as a manifestation technique is that the symbol becomes that which it symbolizes in your mind. (more…)
